2021 will be a very big year!
Pandemics and recessions are generally not great for careers. 2020 was tough for many, although there did seem to be some roles floating around for lawyers with employment, insurance, construction, and litigation experience. Melbourne was hit hardest by Covid, but every state felt it to some degree. Coming to the end of 2020, and the final stages of Covid, and leading into 2021 have already been getting briefs from many law firms and companies who are making positive plans for 2021.
Many law firms will allow and even encourage some work from home flexibility. Most will have lawyers working from home 1-2 days per week, but the majority of time will likely be spent in the office. We are keenly looking for lawyers in Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Brisbane, and Adelaide with experience in corporate and commercial, commercial property, construction, insurance, commercial litigation, and insolvency. We are looking for lawyers ideally with at least 2 years post admission experience. We also continue to place partners at boutique, mid-sized, and large national and international firms.
